Thinking about applying for an eBay MasterCard? Great!  Here's how the application process works…

When you apply, you will first be considered for an eBay MasterCard, which can be used anywhere MasterCard is accepted. If you do not qualify for an eBay MasterCard, you will then be considered for a PayPal Buyer Credit account, which can be used on-eBay and anywhere PayPal is accepted. The 0% offer is only valid for new eBay MasterCard accounts, however if you are approved for PayPal Buyer Credit you will be offered alternative promotional financing. Please see below for specific promotional details by credit product. New PayPal Buyer Credit Accounts and existing eBay MasterCard accounts are not eligible for the 0% APR Offer.

If you are approved for an eBay MasterCard between May 30, 2008 - July 31, 2008, you will receive 0% APR until January 1, 2009, on all purchases made using eBay MasterCard as your source of funds. Purchases must be posted to your Account between May 30, 2008 and July 31, 2008. Please note that minimum monthly payments will be required. Payments will be applied, in accordance with your Agreement, to lower APR balances (including promotional balances) before higher APR or non-promotional balances.  If you have existing balances or incur additional balances at higher APRs, you will not receive the full benefit of this promotion.

The 0% APR offer does not apply to Balance Transfers, Cash Advances, and non-promotional Purchases.  This offer will be terminated and the Delinquency Rate may apply if you fail to make a minimum payment when due, or if you exceed your credit limit or cash advance limit, or if you make a payment to us that is not honored by your bank.  Standard Account terms may apply to non-promotional Purchases & other balances and, after the promotion expires, to your promotional Purchases.  See your credit card agreement for standard Account terms.

If you qualify and are approved for a PayPal Buyer Credit Account between May 30, 2008 - July 31, 2008, and spend more than $50 on-eBay, in a single transaction, you are still eligible to make no payments for 3 months and will pay no interest if paid in full within 3 months. This offer only applies to your first, single purchase made on-eBay, between May 30, 2008 - July 31, 2008, using your PayPal Buyer Credit Account as the source of funds through your PayPal account.

Under this promotion, no monthly payments are required on the promotional purchase and no interest will be assessed on the promotional purchase as long as: 
	
you pay the promotional purchase amount in full by the end of the promotional period, (2) you pay, when due, the minimum monthly payments on any other balances on your account, and (3) you pay any optional Debt Cancellation charges related to the promotional transaction in full by the end of the promotional period. If you fail to satisfy these conditions, all promotional terms may be terminated and interest may be assessed on the promotional balance amount from the date of purchase. This offer does not apply to non-eBay purchases.

EBAY MASTERCARD REWARDS PROGRAM TERMS

Program Eligibility:
The eBay MasterCard Rewards Program is automatically available to each eBay MasterCard Card customer ("Cardholder") whose eBay MasterCard Card Account is open, in good standing, and is not more than 2 consecutive payments past due at the time the Reward Points are earned or the Reward Vouchers are issued.

Reward Points:
For every dollar in net purchases charged to your eBay MasterCard Card Account, you will earn 1 Reward Point. Net purchases mean merchandise and/or services purchased minus returns and adjustments. Unless otherwise stated in a special offer, Balance Transfers, Cash Advances, finance charges, and fees do not qualify for Reward Points. The amount of Reward Points accrued during a billing period is calculated daily, and is rounded up to the next whole Reward Point.

Reward Vouchers:
Redemption:
In order to use your Reward Points, you must go to the eBay MasterCard Service Site and redeem them for Reward Vouchers.  The amount of Reward Points required to redeem a Reward Voucher is listed at the eBay MasterCard Servicing Site. Reward Points are available for redemption on the first day of the next billing period after the applicable Purchase is made. In some circumstances, we may delay making Reward Points available for redemption. Only the primary Cardholder may redeem Reward Points. Multiple participants may not combine Reward Points for redemption purposes. You may redeem your Reward Points for Reward Vouchers if your eBay MasterCard Card Account is delinquent.

Restrictions:
Use of the Reward Voucher is subject to the terms and conditions printed on the voucher. Reward Points do not constitute property of the Cardholder. Reward Points and Reward Vouchers are not transferable or assignable under any circumstances, including (i) upon death, (ii) as part of a domestic relations matter, or (iii) otherwise by operation of law. Reward Point credits will not be issued for any unused Reward Vouchers and Reward Vouchers may not be returned or exchanged. Lost or stolen Reward Vouchers will not be replaced. If the PayPal Account that is associated with your eBay MasterCard Card is closed, you will not be able to use your Reward Voucher. Reward Vouchers cannot be credited to an eBay MasterCard Card or PayPal Account or redeemed for cash. Reward Vouchers must be used by the expiration date.

All accrued Reward Points that you do not redeem for Reward Vouchers will expire and be removed from your balance: (i) if you do not make a purchase with your eBay MasterCard Card Account for 12 consecutive months, (ii) 36 months after the Reward Points were earned, (iii) if you are more than 2 consecutive payments past due on your eBay MasterCard Card Account, or (iv) if your eBay MasterCard Card Account is closed for any reason (other than as a result of a lost or stolen card, in which case all accrued points will be applied to the replacement card).

If you fail to follow these Terms, abuse the Program privileges, or provide false or misleading information your eligibility in the Program may be canceled and you will forfeit all accrued Reward Points or Program benefits. The eBay MasterCard Rewards Program may be changed or discontinued at any time without notice. The accumulation of Reward Points does not entitle you to any vested rights with respect to such points or Program benefits. In accumulating Reward Points, you may not rely on the continued availability of any award or award level, and you may not be able to obtain all offered awards. Any award may be withdrawn or subject to increased Reward Point requirements or new restrictions at any time. Changes to the Program may affect the perceived value of, or your ability to use, the Reward Points you already have accumulated or result in the forfeiture of accumulated Reward Points.
