Thinking about applying for an eBay MasterCard? Great! Here's how the application process works.

When you apply, you will first be considered for an eBay MasterCard, which can be used anywhere MasterCard is accepted. If you do not qualify for an eBay MasterCard, you will then be considered for a PayPal Buyer Credit account, which can be used on eBay and anywhere PayPal is accepted.

Once you have submitted your application, you should receive your credit decision in 30 seconds. You can start using your eBay MasterCard or PayPal Buyer Credit account as soon as you have been approved, anywhere PayPal is accepted. A temporary credit line will be automatically added as a funding source in your PayPal account.

OFFER DETAILS

If you are approved for an eBay MasterCard between November 3, 2009 and January 4, 2010, and spend $200 or more on eBay in a single transaction between November 3, 2009 and January 4, 2010 using your eBay MasterCard as the source of funds through your PayPal account, you will not have to pay any interest for 6 months as long as the promotional balance is paid in full within 6 months. Minimum monthly payments are required.  PayPal Buyer Credit Accounts and existing eBay MasterCard accounts are not eligible for this offer.

Under this promotion, no finance charges will be assessed on the promotional purchase if you pay the following in full within 6 months:  (1) the promotional purchase amount, and (2) any optional debt cancellation charges related to the promotional purchase.  If you do not, finance charges will be assessed on the promotional balance from the date of the purchase at an APR of 29.99% (or the APR that applies to non-promotional purchases on your account, if lower). Minimum monthly payments will be required.  Regular account terms apply to non-promotional purchases and, after this promotion ends, to your promotional purchases.  This offer does not apply to non-eBay purchases.

For new eBay MasterCard Accounts:  Standard purchase APR is currently 19.99% or 23.99%.  Delinquency APR is currently 29.99%. Minimum finance charge is $1.50.  The APR applicable to your account is stated in the account opening documents you received.
